Shrimp Farm Bahia – with 250.000 sqm total area and implemented technology (Overlap OV3), located in Canavieiras, 21 km outside the city

General Description/Facts:

The farm is particularly suited for intensive shrimp production and cultivation, based on the OverLap OV3 technology (further and technically detailed information on request).

The total area is 250.000 m² (200.000 m² completely even), with a private home (70 m²) with 3 bedrooms, a storage facility and 4 mineral water sources as well as a small water reservoir. From the farm you can enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean.

The farm São Bento is located in Canavieras, Bahia – Brazil, one of the largest shrimp production areas in Brazil. It is located on a hill, directly
on the main road BA001 Canavieiras – Ilhéus and offers besides the exclusive panoramic view also a very comfortable living situation – slightly outside of town. The airport of Ilhéus is about 95 km distant, the capital Salvador about 450 km and Porto Seguro 70 km in
straight (aereal) line.

The farm is operational, all tanques have their shrimp colonies implemented and the technology is being provided by the owner for the prospective buyer.

Technological Effectivity – Example: 10 years ago  intensive breeding facilities of shrimp were built with 10.000 m2 and an average yield of 10.000 kg of shrimp per year. The system
OverLap produces about 50,000 kg per year. During 3 years the new OverLap OV3 system was designed for 60,000 kg per year. In addition, one saves about 50% energy and
the  water consumption is minimized.

The Overlap technology has been presented and tested already in Germany. It is currently being certified by IBAMA and IcmBio.
