Rio Grande do Sul
As southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul is strategically located: it is in the south of the country and in the center of Mercosur. It has access to the largest consumer markets. Within a radius of 1,500 km from the Federal District, it reaches 150 million inhabitants and 70% of the continent's GDP. It is integrated through highways, railways, waterways and an international airport. It is connected to the world through the Port of Rio Grande. The quality of living is in general very high, with luxurious condominios and exclusive apartments, specifically in Porto Alegre. European infrastructure is ubiquitous.
