Santa Catarina

  The state of Santa Catarina is located in the South of the country, between Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná, and is composed of 295 cities. All of these municipalities contribute to this state being quite a plural region and focused on a very differentiated economy. The diversity of climates, landscapes and reliefs stimulates the development of different activities and attracts investments from different segments. This allows the state’s wealth not to be concentrated in just one place. Extractive activities, agriculture, fishing, industry, clothing, civil construction, technological centers and, of course, tourism are part of the Santa Catarina economy.
