This beautiful, Toscana-style, beach front palace was conceived and designed by the famous and prominent American architect, Jack Schultz. The plans were then modified and supervised by the highly respected and prominent Brazilian architect Joao Lauro. Both architects did a great job in creating this one of a kind estate. The design maximizes the breath taking ocean views as well as the mountain views of little Corcovado mountain. Construction began in 2003 and was completed in 2006.
The mansion has a variety of balconies. Only the finest materials were used in the construction and the final finishes. Italian porcelain floors throughout, some of the finest Italian Travertine marble, granite and decorative stone all hand picked and placed. Some of the finest Brazilian hardwoods were used, including; Ipa, Mahogany, and Cherry. All of the windows and doors were custom designed and made for the home, each one is a work of art, complete with locks and screens all made of special anodized aluminum. All of the finishings of the home were custom designed and hand crafted from the best Brazilian hard woods and finest materials, made to last and to high standards.
This estate is located in a private and gated community. The home is extremely secure with a 24 hour manned guard house directly in front of the entrance gate. Additionally, the estate is surrounded by high walls and has multi-level electronic security features both inside and outside of the home.
