The 15-kilometer-long stretch of sand leaning over a sea of three colors and a wall of coconut palms offers an irrefutable invitation to isolation from the world. In the (good) company, of course, with typical food and drinks and a handmade beach structure set up by thatched bungalows, wooden loungers and futons printed with colorful cheetah patterns.

The sea is blue and green, on sunny days, and coffee with milk, on wind and rain, which is very rare – warns the Bahian of the gem Goinha Santos, owner of Canal do Pampo, a restaurant that boasts a reputation for serving the best octopus rice in the region.
Access to Ponta do Corumbau, Prado district, requires disposition – which will be rewarded in the first minute of stay. The most common route is through Porto Seguro, from where you embark on a second transfer or bus trip lasting two to three hours (60km of dirt road). Another option is to fly to Teixeira de Freitas (there is only one daily flight, always with a stopover) and head for the Corumbau Marine Extractive Reserve – seal decreed in the 2000s – by transfer.
